Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 July 2026
1. Who we are
Vantaphai (“Vantaphai”, “we”, “us”) provides a regulatory intelligence platform for law firms. We are based in London, United Kingdom. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Vantaphai is the controller of personal data collected through this website. You can contact us at team@vantaphai.com.
This policy covers this website only. Use of the Vantaphai platform by client firms is governed by separate agreements and data processing terms.
2. Personal data we collect
- Contact data you give us. If you email us or book a demo, we receive your name, email address, firm and role, and anything else you choose to include.
- Usage data. We use privacy-friendly, cookie-less website analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) that record aggregated page views, referrers, approximate location (country), device type and interactions such as button clicks. This data does not identify you and is not used to track you across other sites.
- Technical logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps short-lived server logs (including IP addresses) for security and reliability.
3. How and why we use it
- To respond to enquiries and arrange demos (legitimate interests; steps prior to a contract).
- To operate, secure and improve this website (legitimate interests).
- To understand interest in the product ahead of launch (legitimate interests).
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Sharing and transfers
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run this website — currently our hosting and analytics provider (Vercel) and our email provider — under contracts that restrict how they may use it. Where a provider processes data outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. Retention
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless a longer period is required by law or an ongoing relationship. Aggregated analytics data is retained by our analytics provider per its standard schedule.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have rights to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any right, email team@vantaphai.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
7. Cookies
This website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our analytics operate without cookies. Strictly necessary items (such as security tokens set by our hosting provider) may be used to deliver the site.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
This is a working draft prepared ahead of launch. Company registration details (registered name, number and office) should be added before general availability, and the policy should be reviewed by counsel.
